Biographical Sketch:
Jenné Johns, M.P.H., is a program associate for the Quality/Equality Team at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Her work is focused on the team’s strategy to help targeted regions across the United States improve and sustain patient-centered, equitable care by year 2015. Prior to joining the Foundation in May 2006, she was the assistant director for Philadelphia’s largest nonprofit health care organization Philadelphia Health Management Corporation, where her responsibilities included managing the Students Run Philly Style Program, conducting training and education workshops, developing community outreach and partnership strategies, and evaluating program outcomes. Johns also has research, primary and secondary data analysis, program development and implementation experience in areas of childhood obesity and racial and ethnic health disparities. She has conducted numerous research projects using national and local data sets, studying various aspects for nutrition, obesity, and chronic health conditions. Johns received an M.P.H. from Temple University and a B.S. in human ecology (nutrition) with a minor in chemistry from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
