Dialogue Session 2 YOUR VOICE: What matters? What's next? -- Organizational cultural competence - B

Get to know your colleagues better while you discuss issues of common concern and help develop an agenda for the future of the field. These 2-hour networking and dialogue sessions will start with a speed networking exercise from 10:00 - 10:15.  After a brief introduction to the format and the two themes, participants will meet in small discussion groups, and all come together at the end to report out. 

This group will focus on:

Organizational Cultural Competence, including

  • Implementing the CLAS standards or other cultural competence frameworks
  • Implementing disparity reduction programs
  • Organizational assessments of cultural/linguistic competence
  • Organizational plans, policies, management strategies for cultural/linguistic competence
  • Race/ethnicity/language data collection (for individuals and communities)
  • Workforce diversity
  • Quality improvement
  • Risk management
  • Patient safety
  • Multi-stakeholder partnership development/management
